Some public transport schedules and routes to change as of September 1
"Rīgas satiksme" informs that as of September 1 new schedules will be introduced on some public transport (bus, trolleybus and tram) routes to meet passenger demand. Schedules on some routes will be harmonised with those of other routes to improve the possibility of transfer possibilities of passengers. Considering passenger demand, the extensions of some public routes to popular Riga beaches located in Vakarbuļļi, Mangaļsala and Vecāķi will be prolonged. Also on some routes new stops will be opened or the existing ones will be renamed.
As of September 1, new schedules will be introduced for the following public transport routes: for trolleybus route No 3. on workdays, with the number of runs to Kundziņsala being increased; for tram rotes No. 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10 on workdays and holidays; for tram routes No. 3, 9, and 11 on workdays; for the Retro tram on holidays; for bus routes No. 9, 12, 37, 41 and 56 on workdays, as well as for bus routes No. 15 and 18 on holidays.

For Riga residents and guests to be able to better find their way in the city, stop „Ozolciema Street 18” of trolleybus route No. 27 will change its name to „Īslīces Street” in both directions.
On bus routes No. 32 and 43, a new stop, „Gramzdas Street”, will be opened in both directions (the new stop will be located in the local traffic line of Ulmaņa gatve next to the pedestrian overpass crossing Ulmaņa gatve).
Minibuses No. 200 will run by the previously set route, from the city centre to Vecdaugava.
It should be reminded that in the summer season several bus routes have been changed to improve connection with popular Riga beaches, namely, on holidays bus route No. 3 was extended to Vakarbuļļi beach, bus route No. 29 was extended to Vecāķi, intervals on bus route No. 24 were reduced on holidays, also changing the schedule of bus route No. 2, the number of runs on bus route No. 36 was increased, and bus No. 30 started to run also on holidays. Considering passenger demand, these changes are extended until further notice.
